We just arrived and Lucas is sound asleep after the bus trip. My middle brother Delcio (in the red shirt, with my other brothers Arnaldo and Evaldo, above) turned 50 last Saturday, so I went to Petropolis to mom's with Lucas while Rodrigo is in Minas for his monthly course. It was so good to be home with my family! It's always fun being there, all messy and noisy like an Italian clan.
Of course, mom was happy with all of her kids around her, this is clear in the photo above! Since I told her about Lucas' dream with Dedê, she got more resigned with her loss and allows herself to laugh out loud again. I was missing this! :o)
The highest point to me was to see my six-months-old little niece Beatriz, Delcio's daughter, so gorgeous and cute after her problem at birth, she's perfectly healthy!
It was a wonderful weekend, despite of the rainy, cold weather. Hope you all had a great time as well!
