My brother took this photo many years ago, when he was living in Bahia, northeast part of Brazil. I always loved it.

This kind of shot has a tremendous depth to it, and the wooden structure is very nice for b & w.

I love this shot. So much difference in the sea and sand, ans the wooden structure leading deep into the photo. The slanting crossbars add so much.
This is a very good photograph, and yet unsettling. I'm not sure quite how to express it...

I absolutely love it. I really feel the beach from the photo, and get lost in the repeating columns. It reminds me of a pier in N. Carolina that I used to love to visit (You could still walk on it, though!).
