Monochrome Weekly
This is my father's family's coffee farm, where my dad was born and lived for 50 years. My mother and my siblings have great memories and funny stories about the time they lived there. When I was born, it was already sold due to the coffee's crisis, so I have no memories. Now it's a private property that can be visited.

What magnificent home that must have been.
Very nice mono shot!
Looks like it was once a wonderful place to live!
This is a very nice photograph. I especially like the compostion and how the long shadows in the front yard lead our eyes to the house itself.
At least you have a photo to remember it by.
PS Those unpredictable food-prises are a serious threat to a large part of the world.
How special that you have a photo that you have taken to be able to retell the story.
Love the photo!! I love the shadows, and the brillance of the sun on the building!
Grand. Still drinking coffee?
Lovely mono, and such bittersweet memories for you.
What a beautiful place! It's a shame your family had to sell it. I bet it's just magnificent inside.
