Nature in action

My brother Evaldo posted on his page these amazing photos he took last week of a Peregrine Falcon. Evaldo often goes tot he top of our local cathedral and observe the birds that live nearby. These falcons are old friends of him. He was lucky to watch this male when he captured a little bird for lunch. It took it more than 30 minutes to devour his hunt:

After sating his hunger, he flew from his place to meet his female friend:

... when he sated his second appetite...

That's what I'd call to pray, to eat, to love, lol!

These are beautiful! Your brother was so lucky to be able to capture this bird doing what he does through out the day. Eating, flying, visiting lady friends... ;)

Oh Nydia Thank Your brother , this is awesome !!!
we just went on a homeschool field trip on tues. to a falconry station ! it is run by the university . the birds from south america migrate all the way up here through our province over to Alberta !
it was very sad to read how they became endangered though :-(
I am thinking this will make a great project for us to learn more about our Arab heritage ☺ the boys were pretty impressed by the skill of falconcry ☺
thanks again to you and your brother both
