Monochrome Weekly
Lucas took this photo a very long time ago, when we still lived in Rio. It looks good in mono.
I dedicate this post to Aileni, my Irish witch friend... I'm glad you're back.

I agree. The shot looks good in mono. I think it would look even better with a tighter crop. Nice work Lucas.
I like this shot in mono. I wonder if that insect is munching on the leaf.
Actually it's getting ready to lift it. There's another photo of it walking away with the leaf on its back.
Very cool. Stopping by to say hello!!
That's a lot of work for a small critter!
Your boy has talent Nydia - just in case you didn't know!
Your little witch is a talented photographer!
Your boy really got talent!
Please have a great weekend :)
Lucas did a nice job. Aren't ants amazing? Unfortunately, I found some exploring my cabin kitchen before we left last week. I sure hope the scouts didn't report back that there was a feast available. It is the first time since we arrived that I've seen small ants anywhere. Usually they are the large black kind you find in the forest. These look like the kind I had back in Los Angeles that loved to destroy my pantry. - Margy
Ants are diligent creatures...
Great shot :)
Thanks for visiting, Nydia
Life in its many forms is very fascinating. Neat that Lucas is taking an interest in even the wee ones among the living. [No hole-in-one for the young lady playing golf, Nydia. Maybe next time. (:]
Thanks for visiting! Interesting shot ... I would crop the image too :o)
