"Gimme fuel, gimme fire..."
OH Books! I love Internet and I know how wonderful this media is to bring peope closer, and the zillion informations we can get here, but if there's something I can't live without is to read a real book, to smell it, feel the pages under my fingers... It's almost erotic, lol!
So yesterday arrived the two books I ordered, at the same time, my kind of heaven!!
How good it is to look at my bedside and see them sweetly waiting for me to read, it's so comforting... I started The Red-Haired Girl from the Bog last night and already got hooked! Patricia Monaghan really knows how to keep the reader's attention, I only stopped because it was too late, but tonight I think I'll watch the dawn while reading...
Have you guys been reading something these days? I always love to know about it!

Ya I know what you mean, a real book is a thing to behold in todays world. I always seem to be reading multiple things at once right now I just finished reading Skinny Dip by Karl Hiaasan. Love him such a great author! I am also reading Eckhart Tolle's the Power of Now and his book New Earth. I am also re-reading the canterbury tales and the seat of the soul. Oh Im reading learned optimism too. To many at one time maybe...
Blessings
Oh I definitely have to have a "real" book going at all times! I get the portable book readers like Kindle, but it's just not for me.
Lately I've been reading Christopher Moore. That guy is FUNNY!
Just picked up Rumor Has It by Jill Mansell and it's a ton of fun. Way better than I was expecting.
I agree with you 100%. I listen to audiobooks when I'm working on projects and need my hands free, but not beats actually holding a book.
Right now, I'm reading "Spider Bones" by Kathy Reichs. It's the lastest in the Temperance Brennan series.
I had an order from B&N arrive last week and so far I've read
"Kiss of Crimson" - Lara Adrian
"Midnight Awakening: - Lara Adrian
"Dark slayer" - Christine Feehan
"Chain of Fire" - Christina Dodd
I love books, but I'll be honest, my Nook app gets a workout, too. Especially when there's a sale! lol.
