A Goddess for my boxes

I guess some of you know that I sell hand-painted wooden boxes. It's been a time that I make them with Rodrigo, as well as decorated magnetized matchboxes. Actually everything started with these about eight years ago when I started making them as a hobby, putting some favourite movies images on the front and magnets on the back, to decorate my fridge. A friend liked it, bought some, and I started selling them at decoration stores in Ipanema, in consignment, for years. But we never fully dedicated ourselves, for lack of time, specially after Lucas was born.

Now we're taking it more seriously again, there are more stores interested in them, and it's always good to have an extra monthly income...

So I've been trying to make a nice symbol to put on the back of the boxes with our names & phone number, and while Lucas was drawing his Demeter last Thursday, I came up with these simple Goddess sketches that I liked:
Of course, this is only a sketch made with his pens, but I'd love your opinion about it, because I'd use it as a "personal brand" in all our boxes, in different colors and symbols in her belly. I searched the net to see if there was something similar - maybe unconsciouly I could have made something that already exists - although Goddess representations are very alike - but seems like it's a little creation of mine alright. What do you think?

First of all, I can't wait to see your boxes! They sound very cool. Do you have any pictures?

I'm so pleased you volunteered to make one to give away for my Halloween event! I've got a few really cool things lined up so far!

When I found and posted the "Make your own Goddess" site, I immediately thought of Lucas and his homemade Goddess picture! Nothing is better than one you make yourself!

I think they're perfect and that this is something that is still obviously calling you to try and I say, go for it!

I think they are perfect, because they can be read as the Goddess for those in the know, or as a Angel or Fairy for those who prefer that symbolism.

When I managed Otherworld the Celtic shop, I quickly learnt that to maximise my selling, most Americans prefered the idea of 'past, present & future' to that of the Triple Godess's 'virgin, woman & Old Crone!'

Will look forward to seeing the boxes tec.

Love to you all

Hmm... I think the sketches are awesome. These are great representations of your personal brand... I think they will work well. I haven't seen anything similar to that... I think it's quite unique...
I'm looking forward to seeing the boxes.

I like your Goddess sketches, especially the ones with the spirals. Looking forward to hearing more about your boxes-- and seeing pictures of them, I hope!

They are excellent and benefit from being unsophisticated, if you see what I mean.
