No words are enough to express my indignation on this. But I tried on her Facebook post:
Sorry, I was in a rush and ended up writting this brief post above only to let you know about this new issue against pagans... Now that I'm back home, I can talk more calmly. ;P

If you read the link I posted here, you already know what's all about. If not, I'll let you know: There is this cool contest (that should be something fun) going on for the 25 Faith Blogs by Moms, where you can vote for your fvorite faith blog everyday, once a day. You'll find several lovely blogs, from Muslim, Jewish, Christian, pagans. The problem is that one of the nominated bloggers (who is now out the contest) decided to literally attack the whole pagan community by quoting Kris Bradley blog (who is also in the contest with her awesome page, as well as two other wonderful pagan bloggers) as reference to her hate and prejudice. Narrow-minded as she obviously is, she tried to link her sad opinions to the Bible to justify her awful words. What she didn't expect was to be replied back by many pagans (and even non-pagans) who could see the unfairness that was thrown in her page.
I don't like the word "tolerance". I'd rather use the word "respect". "Tolerance" always brings to my mind the image of someone on a higher place being magnanimous enough to allow someone who, in his/her opinion, is on a lower position, to be or say something not accordingly to his/er own opinions. That's why I think that in terms to prejudice, "Respect" is a better word. And all I could see in this lady's post was a total disrespect to the pagan community, a total lack of knowledge on what paganism is about, and a total lack of humbleness on the simple and obviuos fact that there is not an absolute truth when spiritual paths are concerned.
I strongly support you to speak up for your religion, ideas, sexuality, whatever, as long as you don't do it by attacking and being aggressive and disrespectful on those who don't follow your path. This is mean, sad and immature. Ironically quoting this lady (on a more righteous way, I hope): "I will not tolerate that kind of behavior."

She was removed from the running and Mrs. B's blog is now in second.
I read that woman's post. The smugness and self-righteousness that come from people like that, turns my stomach. Ignorance at its finest.
I could easily verbally rip Christianity to shreds (backed by evidence of their heinous crimes), but that would make me no better than them, so I remain silent and walk away....
Glad you shared this. Blessings....
I have to admit her words and attitude made me so angry, I'm not willing to stoop to her level and I hope her hate filled life doesn't lead to hurting anyone.... uugh some people are so narrow minded. Thank you so much for sharing this, I'm glad her hate spewing took her out of the running.
Makes me sick! And I notice you have to email her comments. What a coward and a bigot. Makes me angry too!
I was so angry I felt physically sick when I read her post. I think I better resist writing something about it on my own blog.
Terrible excuses for people like that always get what is coming to them.
I thought that lady (for lack of a better word) was a real piece of work. The things she said were really hateful and for her to even call herself a Christian is completely baffling. I count the many blessings in my life, one of which is not having anyone close to me who thinks like that.
Girls, I'm still trying to breathe after this event! :P
What's also astounding is the Xians like this often consider their faith to be constantly under attack, when it's constantly being confirmed in US culture. I am very pleased she dropped out. Maybe one day The Goddess will open her mind. Heavy lifting there, though. ;)
I would say that she dug a hole for herself. She said that a different faith is the wrong faith and that you can believe but it doesn't mean it's right.
That's an argument that can easily go every way, to other religions, other beliefs and other faiths that is so different from hers (Christianity). It can also mean that her beliefs can be wrong in the eyes of other faiths.
Blessings for sharing this enlightening post.
unfortunately there will always be some like that. It is a sad thing. blessings
Such self righteousness is just uncalled for. I don't understand why people have to be so cruel to others for differences.
Too sad Sisters.. it is not easy to speak in reguard to this attack, except to say and hope that enlightenment will come...
Be Blessed
Oh Nydia I'm glad I've been away in the bush for 5 weeks lol , living real life ! just having tyo take care of our kids and grandson . not pressured " to be " or accpeted by all . at times I hate the internet . all the trying to fit in , be cool , who is a victim who is an abuser stuff.
people do use religion as an excuse for both to remian a victim or to hurt others . in the end it is their character and nother to do with their religion . pagans tortured , christians , muslums etc. have all been abusers and used horrid methods of harming others , it continues into the now . we've choice to partake or not ☺
I chose when I was a neo pagan and now as a christian not to partake but it is hard to deal with . I just can't follow blogs of any kind that promote hate of others .
it upsets me so much .
have you watched the you tube video of the aboriginal elder little hawk ? he speaks of tolerence and he too does not like the word because it has come to mean " I put up with you " he focuses on the not being puffed up and being humble etc. really good video if you can watch it .
