Quiet Beltane

I don't know why the photo came out so blurred! Beltane this year was an nusual quiet one. Lucas was so sleepy that he went to bed really early, so I simply lit my altar candle and the new one (oh the scent, terrific!), and said a little prayer, thanking for what we've got, and asking for strenght. Very simple, very quiet. Things will soon go back to normality...

Sometimes it's nice to have a simple sabbat. I think maybe they are more meaningful that way.

Nydia, I hope you don't mind my commenting here but I cannot email you -- it always comes back to me! I got your email, though, and YES, I received it just two days before Samhain and it is FANTASTIC! Right now, the box is on my altar and the cat is hanging above it. I sent you an email the day I got it, but it did not go through. But I absolutely LOVE it, thank you so much!!! I love the sparkly inside of the box, and the pictures on it are simply beautiful. The cat is gorgeous and I think her peg above my altar is a permanent home, actually :) The box is going to go on my kitchen mini-altar, which is due for a revamp. It'll hold certain utensils there.

Thank you again. It is absolutely beautiful. I was a little worried when I first got it, because the package was a bit crushed and torn up by the trip, but I shouldn't have worried as the box is so sturdy that it wasn't marked a bit, and no damage to the cat either! It's just perfect!

Thank you!

Even though you had a quiet Beltane, I hope it was a good one. Sometimes simple is better.
